In the early 1960s, Paul Keene and his family moved house and studio, to farmland in Bucks County. Works selected here show Keene embracing the open space and big skies 15 years or so after. He is also embracing his chosen materials and exploring and exploiting possibilities with watercolor, ink, and brush. The act of creation is fused with an emotional response to a moment of seeing and a sense of infinite space.
