The Capital Art Fair: @ The University Club - Washington, DC

November 7 - 9, 2025 Art Fairs

Join us for a premier event dedicated to fine works on paper — from etchings, woodcuts, and lithographs to drawings, watercolors, and more.

The Capital Art Fair, started more than 40 years ago, is the oldest Fair in America devoted to fine prints and drawings. Its exhibitors come from around the US, and the work they show represents 500 years of Art History. Visitors to the show will see and have the opportunity to purchase original prints and drawings by Old Masters such as Rembrandt and Durer, 19th-century masters such as Goya and Whistler, 20th-century masters like Picasso and Miro, modern masters such as Warhol and Haring, as well as Japanese Prints from the classical Ukiyo-Yi period to the present day. Materials shown will range in price from very modest to quite expensive, a mix designed to offer real and historic original artwork to both new and seasoned collectors and to Museums and similar institutions.

Featured artists: Norman Ackroyd, Fred Becker, Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, Morris Blackburn, Robert Blackburn, Michael Canning, Elizabeth Catlett, Herman Cherry, Ed Clark, Oscar Dominguez, Werner Drewes, Steve Ford, Sam Gilliam, Lorna Blaine Halper, Stanley William Hayter, Jaques Herold, Lawrence Heyman, Harry Hoehn, Ian Hugo, Lois Mailou Jones, Reuben Kadish, Yasuyuki Kihara, Misch Kohn, Kraller, Alan Lunak, Andre Masson, Helen Phillips, Martin Puryear, Rachel Puryear, Alice Rahon, Krishna Reddy, Nono Reinhold, Gustave Singier, Dorothea Tanning, Dox Thrash, Julian Trevelyan, Joyce Wellman & Ben Wigfall.
