The Philadelphia Show, held annually on the East Terrace of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, showcases an outstanding selection of collectible antiques, art and design presented by over forty of America’s leading dealers. Learn more about the joy of collecting through educational dealer talks, show tours or take part in a self-guided treasure hunt. Come experience the amazing array of fine art, Americana, furniture, folk art, ceramics, porcelain, silver, jewelry, textiles, decorative arts, and feel the thrill of the hunt.
Dolan/Maxwell opened in June, 1984 with an exhibition of large collages by Steven Sorman in an elegant 3rd floor space at 17th & Walnut, then the nexus of galleries in Philadelphia. While organizing exhibitions brought its own rewards, the advent of art fairs presented a new avenue for our endeavors. It feels serendipitous that we find ourselves commemorating our 40th anniversary at The Philadelphia Show.
We warmly invite you to join us at the excellent Philadelphia Show and experience works of art that we’ve selected to reflect upon our history, mark this moment, and, look towards the future. Your presence would add to the joy of the occasion as we celebrate four decades of sharing our passion with your keen eyes.
