First inspired by Irish skies, Hershey continues to develop cloud imagery and plays with the viewers’ point of view in her drawings. Made with graphite powder and applied with her hands and fingers, the color elements have grown from disparate sources such as weather forecasting imagery, rainbows, and color refracting in water. Cellular technology inspires a fascination with our thoughts and feelings being mysteriously transmitted through the atmosphere.
