Dual Forms No. III exploits simultaneous color printing to a great effect. Three soft-bodied figures fill the image, sitting and stretched out upon a patchwork quilt of geometric patterns. The quilt patterns fill the spaces surrounding the heavily outlined shapes of the figures giving an all-over abstracted design to this work. Blue and pink inks were rolled onto the plate and serve to unify the surface. Shapes of bright red, green, and yellow enhance and add spark to the quilt patterns for a symphonic impact.
